Two page spread!

Here's the big title page. I'm gonna have a 5th page in the finished book which provides a brief explanation of the politics and history of early medieval England. Just because I refer to it a lot, and I'm sure not everyone remembers the details from Grade 10 Social Studies. Oh, and Robin Hood will be in this book as well.

Robin Hood! Robin Hood! Robin Hood!

You know, I'm not sure I've ever made a post on this blog that actually mentions Robin Hood, the most recognizable character in my strip, by name. Well, I guess there's no time like the present. Also, Maid Marion, Will Scarlett, Friar Tuck, and Little John are featured pretty heavily. And the Sheriff of Nottingham. Why is this important you ask? Well, simply put, I want people to read my comic strip. This is the first part of my master plan to control the masses through domination of the media. Baby steps. Also, now I have to kill you--Anyway, As you undoubtedly are aware, the way people stumble across a blog is by google-ing a popular phrase, i.e. Robin Hood (there, I did it again!) and google takes them to a page with relevant information. Try typing in Much the Miller's Son, and you'll see what I mean. The thing is, Robin Hood (yes!) has a lot more name recognition than Much the Miller's Son, which is why I have to explain the premise of my book to every person who looks at it. Go figure. I think I'll make my next book about Paris Hilton.

Shamelessly,

Steve

So that's the first sequence from the new book. I'm bound to make some slight changes in the inking process, but I think it's a pretty good start.

Page 3!

The Vancouver Comic Con went great! I sold enough to pay for the table at least. I hope I'll be able to do a couple more cons this year, but with a baby on the way, my travel plans are going to be a bit limited.

Much the Miller's Son available in stores!!

My first batch of Much comics has arrived! I'm in the process of getting them into stores here in Vancouver. You should be able to find copies on the shelves as soon as next week at RX Comics, Lucky's Comics, Sophia Books and a few other places. I've sent some copies to Floating World Comics in Portland Oregon as well, so anyone in the Portland area who wants a copy can pick it up there. I'll also have a table at the Vancouver Comic-Con on Sunday, January 20th from 11am to 5pm at the Heritage Hall, 3102 Main Street (corner of Main and 15th Ave) Thanks again to all my readers and friends who have been so supportive. I'm already working on book 2, and I'm trying to drum up interest with some publishers.

Thanks again,

Steve
